This Physiological Skeleton model gives you a realistic look at the joints system by demonstrating internal and external rotations of the limbs. The hand bones have been assembled on wire to show their natural position and so have the foot bones making them maneuverable. Phil also shows how the knee and elbow joints move and stretch and his flexible spine can display natural movements such as lateral bend, stretching and rotation. The shoulder blades of this 3B Scientific® skeleton model twist when the arms are raised. You can also view movment on this model of the sacroiliac joint and the sacrococcygeal symphysis. This model comes complete with a stable metal hanging stand with 5 caster wheels and makes a wonderful addition to any classroom.
